User Manual

The Treoc Investor software is a web-based application, which means that you must be connected to the internet in order to use it. It cannot be downloaded. The web is here to stay, and therefore we strongly advise everyone to get a decent internet connection.

Since the programme resides on the internet, security is as important here as it is with internet banking. Your data is protected by your unique login details, which you can change as often as you wish. All our members, Platinum, Silver and Gold, have access to the programme, but only Platinum members have full access and usage rights. If you'd like to know what Platinum membership entails, visit our website www.treoc.com.

Where Treoc Investor is concerned, the difference between Platinum members and others is that Platinum members can actually make use of the programme, while Silver and Gold members can only view it. This is very helpful for training purposes, and the HELP facility that is accessible from any point in the programme works effectively as a training guide as well.

Silver and Gold members can view our demo deals, properties and portfolios, and all the accompanying functions such as tenant and letting agent administration. They can explore the software and decide whether they would like to join as Platinum members, or Treoc Investors as we call them.

Login

All members, users as well as non-users, would have received login details when they joined as newsletter subscribers. These are the login details required to access the software. Even if you only want to view the HELP pages, remember to log in first.

Help

You will notice that there are help buttons in two places on the screen. In the top left-hand corner there is a “show help” button. When you click this button, it will open a help section on the right-hand side of your screen.

Page Information

This is an overview of the page you are on, with an explanation of the fields and functionality on the page.

Field Information

When you click on any block or area on the page, the Field Information window will display a definition of that specific field.

General Help

There is another help button in the top right-hand corner. Clicking on this button will open a separate window displaying all the help text relevant to that part of the programme.

So, if you get stuck while using the programme, simply open any help page, read the definition and instructions, and proceed.

With all this help just a mouse-click away, Treoc Investor is probably one of the most user-friendly programmes of its kind. If, however, you find that you need more help, we recommend that you contact your closest Treoc Investor Club. All the club managers are thoroughly trained in the use of the software and will be able to help you as much as you need.

Quick Start Guide

First-time Platinum visitors will notice that some of the links on the left-hand side of the page are not active. The following instructions will take you through the basic steps you need to follow in order to be able to use the full functionality of the Treoc Investor Software.

How to activate the Deal Manager

Click on "add new deal".

Complete the details of your deal.

Click on "add deal" to submit.

Click on "my deals".

Click on the property name.

The links in the Deal Manager will now be active.

How to activate the Portfolio Manager

Click on "add new portfolio".

Complete the details of your portfolio.

Click on "add portfolio" to submit.

Click on "my portfolios".

Click on the portfolio name.

The links in the Portfolio Manager will now be active.

How to activate the Property Manager

There are two ways of adding a property, depending on whether you are adding a newly-purchased property or an existing property.

First Option: New deals
     Click on "my deals".
     Click on the name of the property you have purchased.
     Click on "promote deal".
     Add the property to the portfolio of your choice (this portfolio must first have been added by using the "add new portfolio" link).

Second Option: Existing properties
     Click on "my portfolios".
     Click on the name of the portfolio to which you'd like to allocate this property.
     Click on "add new property" in the Portfolio Manager section.
     Complete the details of your property.
     Click on "add property" to submit.
